Greetings, I hope your week is going well. (Here’s that word HOPE again 😉
I would dare say that most of our prayers are requesting God to help in some way or another. It might be for a problem we are going through or for a sick family member or friend. It could also be for that fact that I need an A on my report card. I remember hearing a story of a seminarian who prayed to the Holy Spirit to write a paper for him. He put the paper in the typewriter and went to bed. Needless to say, the paper was as clean and white in the morning as it was when he went to bed. (Now I don’t know if this story is true, but I think it gets my point across.)
Once again I open one of the first notebooks I have kept over the years and found this by an unknown author. They said “Remember whenever you’re in a position to help someone, be glad and always do it because that’t God answering someone’s else’s prayer through you.”
So, how many prayers have you answered? How many of your prays have been answered through the kindness of another person, who just happened to be in the right place at the right time?
Maybe instead of asking God to answer a prayer we might have, we might as God to give us the grace and the ability to be the answer of another’s prayer. God is never outdone in kindness.
