Hello. Hope all goes well.
As I wrote the above, I just remembered what I was going to write about, that being Hope. I said that I hope. . . We all hope for something. “I hope it will stop raining before the outing, I hope the gravy will come out good for lunch today. I hope, I hope, I hope, and on it goes.

But what is HOPE? In the Dictionary of Word Origins, there is no definitive definition. It said that it could have originate from the low-german hop which means to “jump to safety.”
We see the word as one of the three major virtues, “Faith, Hope, and Charity.” So Hope is a very important element in our belief system. 

I guess it would be safe to say that the word could be defined differently depending on the person you would ask.
One unknown writer tell us,

 “The best thing you can do in your life is figure out what you hope for. And the most you can do is to live inside that hope.”

 It is as Alexander Pope said in his work entitled An Essey on Man (1733),  “Hope springs eternal in the human breast.” It is much more than a dream of a “some day”. Hope is what gives us a reason to get up in the morning. It is what keeps us praying for the recovery of a loved one. It is what we, as the saints tell us, cannot see now, but believe that we will one day. Hope is nothing less than the foundation of our faith.  A faith that tells us that one day. . . and we believe in that “one day.”
I sure hope this makes sense!!
