Good morning.
Today as we remember all or our departed brothers and sisters, it is important to remember that where they have gone, we will follow them when it is our time. It will be at that time that were won’t be any farewells, but only a warm, “good to see you” and more joy and happiness then we have ever experienced in this life.
Pope Francis tells us today, “If today we are remembering those brothers and sisters of ours who have gone before us and are now in heaven, they are there because they were washed in the Blood of Christ, that is new hope, and this hope does not disappoint. If we live our lives with the Lord, He will never disappoint us.”
Remember, as the saints have told us down through the years, death is but a door we go through to a new and everlasting life with the Lord. As Jesus reminds, there are many rooms in His Father’s house, and one of them has our name on its door.
May all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
