Hello, hope all is well.
As I began to write this reflection today I realized the quote by Pope Francis would have been fitting as I wrote about the two young saints on Tuesday, the lives of Carlo and Pire Giorgio.
We are reminded that sainthood is living out the life that the loving Father has set before us. It could be He is calling us to a live in ministry or religious life, or as a lay person. Whatever it might be we are all called to sainthood. And we attain that by the way we live our lives.
As Pope Francis says to us today, “Do not be afraid of holiness. It will take away none of your energy, vitality or joy. On the contrary, you will become what the Father had in mind when he created you, and you will be faithful to your deepest self. To depend on God sets us free from every form of enslavement and leads us to recognize our great dignity.”
